After spending approximately an hour at Shell Island's Marina, we'll embark on a leisurely sailboat cruise to the Gulf of Mexico to search for wild dolphins. (Please refer to the disclaimer regarding dolphins below). Although we wish the conditions were perfect, it is not often that dolphins will not be seen. The itinerary is designed to ensure your safety and enjoyment. Enjoy the cruise back to Panama City Beach. There is upbeat music and dancing.

Shell Island is only one part of this tour. As we make our way to the island, You will often see wild schools or dolphins as you cross the island. Another option is to make Shell Island a stop on your charter fishing trip.

These are wild animals in their natural habitat doing what they want to do. Our encounters observe them on their terms and depend on what they are doing and their mood. Encounters happen pretty often; however, there is no way that we can guarantee it. We are bound by the laws of The Marine Mammal Protection Act of 1972 and subsequent amendments, in addition to the laws of the State of Florida. We are not allowed to feed or harass dolphins, so we don’t and are very strict about that. Thank you for understanding.

Dolphins live in the wild in their natural environment. They are not kept in tanks and they do not have to be kept in a cage. You should wear polarized sunglasses in order to avoid the harsh glare of the water and better appreciate the beauty of wild dolphins. It is extremely rare for us not to see the dolphins.
